DxOMark conducted two separate reviews of the operation of Asus Zenfone 7 Pro-one for the main camera and the other for the same camera used in selfie mode. And, depending on what you read, you will get a completely different impression. When talking about the camera in regular reviews, DxO found great details, pleasant colors, fast and accurate autofocus, and accurate exposure. Dynamic range is considered lacking, and there is some color cast in some scenes.
ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro has a total score of 115, ranking 22 in the DxOMark mobile phone rankings, second only to Huawei P30 Pro and higher than OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro.
Entering the selfie evaluation, Zenfone 7 Pro ranked second with an overall performance of 101 points, second only to DxO’s favorite Huawei P40 Pro. Since Zenfone 7 Pro uses a rotation mechanism to point its main camera forward, it has the inherent advantages of larger sensors and better optics.
When viewed as a selfie shooter, the main camera has an excellent dynamic range with good exposure, accurate colors, and good skin tones in all conditions.
