An upcoming Xiaomi smartwatch appeared in the FCC’s database, revealing its key specs and design. It is the Mi Watch Lite that can be launched as a Redmi Watch in markets such as China and as the name suggests, it will take the form of a cheaper alternative to the brand’s Mi Watch that was announced last year. The list contains a complete look at the portable store drawer with a snap of its design as well as its key specifications on the back.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite appears in the FCC list of key specifications and images
We can see that the Mi Watch Lite has a square casing and a single button on the right side together with a silicone strap. Around the back, we find the smartwatch comes with a 1.41-inch HD color screen, built-in GPS, swim-safe design, and 24-hour heart rate tracking. It is powered by a 230 mAh battery that charges 5W. Pairing with a smartphone takes place via Bluetooth 5.1 with optional Android 4.4 or iOS 10 and higher devices.

The box also reveals several sports modes but we do not get a complete list. It is also noteworthy that the device carries the REDMIWT02 model numbers, which further means that it will be launched under the Redmi brand in certain markets. The smartwatch was previously certified by UL Demko and China’s MIIT so the official launch may be just around the corner.
