If you’re in the US and wondering which carrier will offer the next OnePlus 9, it may come sooner than expected, and no more wondering. Enterprising people XDA developer A deep dive into the OxygenOS code reveals that OnePlus 9 is actually heading for both Verizon and T-Mobile.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro seems to be heading for T-Mobile, and Verizon seems to be ahead of the more expensive options.

The OxygenOS code has very good tips for all of this, but obviously, nothing has been confirmed yet, so add a little salt and take everything. Not surprisingly, both OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro use Qualcomm’s next top-of-the-line chipset. This is probably called the Snapdragon 875 and the model number is SM8350.
As with Verizon, expect that version 9 to have support for mmWave 5G and Sub-6. Similar to what happened with the OnePlus 8, other small details may differ between this and the Global OnePlus 9.
