Now that it’s finally released, the iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max are in the hands of people and are starting to work. And those buyers will be pleased to find that this pair is as durable as the iPhone 12/12 Pro.
Both ceramic shield screens have scratched at the usual level 6 of Mohs hardness, but interestingly, the grooves aren’t as deep as the grooves on the iPhone 11 last year. Another interesting finding was that there was no permanent damage in the 50 second light test. As with all OLED panels, it fits the pixels of the screen. Perhaps the ceramic molecules in the screen glass have something to do with it.
This is the overall durability test.
