Google has issued an update to Google Maps, focused on the area sharing UI. It now attributes a considerably less-pronounced bar, a new floating button and a card with your title, present-day address and telephone battery cost.

You can get to the site sharing menu by tapping your avatar in the upper-appropriate corner of Google Maps and then Place sharing.
