Redmi Note 9 Pro vs Realme 6 cameras
Both phones have four rear cameras, but the sensor and lens are quite different from each other. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48-megapixel Samsung GM2 primary sensor. Apart from this, the phone has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, Realme 6 has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and a depth sensor, whose resolution is not known by the company. Both phones have 16-megapixel front cameras for selfies.
Autofocus is quite fast on both phones. When taking pictures in broad daylight, we found that the Realme 6 camera performs better. Compared to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the details of the distant subjects are sharper and the colors also seem more natural. Redmi Note 9 Pro makes the photos very sharp and also increases the tone of the colors. If the shots taken from the wide-angle cameras of both phones are seen, then the photos taken with the Redmi Note 9 Pro look more good in detail. This phone is also good for macro shots. Close-ups in both phones come almost identical. Although the colors in Realme 6’s camera are good and the texture is also good.
Even in low light, Realme 6 created better detail and exposure in dark areas of photos. However, the Real-6 wide-angle camera performed slightly better than the Note 9 Pro in pictures taken with the wide-angle camera.
Talking about the selfie, we found that Realme 6 makes good detail in a selfie-and also processes skin tone better. However, Redmi Note 9 Pro also did not lag behind Realme 6 in this segment. Both selfie cameras gave an average performance in low light, yet if one is to be declared the winner then we will tell Realme 6 better here. Low-light images taken from realme 6 skin tone were slightly warm. In both phones, the screen flash turned on, the pictures of Redmi Note 9 Pro got brighter colors, which is a good thing, but the camera app greatly increased the tone of colors at the time of processing. realme 6 took a good selfie with more accurate colors.
Both Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 Pro can shoot up to 4K resolution video, but without stabilization. During the day, the Redmi Note 9 Pro captures a lot of color in the video, while Realme 6 captures more realistic looking footage. Redmi Note 9 Pro brings better stability by making videos at 1080 pixels, but once again it increases the colors a lot.
The footage recorded with both phones at 4K in low light is filled with noise (very small particles), but Realme 6 captures better colors. The footage still remains grainy at 1080 pixels, but the Realme 6 smartphone makes better exposure and details than the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Talking about recording with wide-angle cameras, the Redmi Note 9 Pro performs better here. However, in low light here both phones captured quite a dark video, which was not even workable.
