Redmi Note 9 users start receiving MIUI 12 update, many new features added -TechWeu

Redmi Note 9 users have started receiving MIUI 12 updates in India, it has been claimed in a report revealed on Twitter. Last week, the company released the MIUI 12 update for Poco X2 and now it has been rolled out for the Redmi Note 9 phone. According to the screenshot shared by the user on Twitter, the MIUI update version of the Redmi Note 9 is MIUI V12.0.1.0.QJOINXM and its size is 538MB. This update brings better animation and system updates in the phone such as MIUI 12 features. At the moment, not all Redmi Note 9 users will receive this latest update simultaneously, as this update has been released in batches.

It comes with new animation engines and brand new visuals. However, the screenshot shared by the user does not reveal the features that came with this update. We can expect this update to include all the features that were introduced in April with the launch of MIUI 12. It included privacy and security-related changes with a better floating window, simpler and cleaner visual design.

To check the MIUI 12 update in your Redmi Note 9 smartphone, you go to ‘About Phone’ in Settings and then click on ‘System Update’, here you should see the latest update. If you have not received this update at the moment, then you will have to wait a little longer for this. As we said, this update has been rolled out in batches, due to this it may take some time for every user to reach it.

The Redmi Note 9 smartphone was launched in India along with Android 10 based MIUI 11 in July. This phone is equipped with Octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM etc. Apart from this, you get a single hole-punch cutout for the quad rear camera setup and selfie in the phone. The battery of the phone is 5,020 mAh, which provides 9 watts reverse charging support with 22.5 watts fast charging.
