The S21 series will be available a month earlier than expected, but the design still seems to be tweaked. OnLeaks is back with a revised version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which has a different camera design than the original rendering.
The revised design of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra-Beware of extra cameras/sensors
No, the camera island still looks like that, but there are additional modules on the back. It’s not clear if this is the 5th camera or the sensor (3D ToF sensor?). Also, note that the LED flash is slightly misaligned.
Original Galaxy S21 Ultra rendering for comparison
Rumor has it that the Galaxy S21 Ultra uses a 108MP sensor for the main cam and continues to use a 40MP sensor for the selfie camera, matching the S20 Ultra. As with the features of other camera modules, it’s unclear if there are any resolution-independent upgrades.
That said, it’s clear that the 2021 model will have (at least) one more camera than the S20 Ultra. Other manufacturers have already included two telephoto lenses in their top flagship, it’s not hard to imagine Samsung doing the same.
