Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself in his apartment in Bandra on Sunday. He was 34 years old. Additional Commissioner of Police of Western Region Manoj Sharma said: “He committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. Our team is there.” Rajput’s last film on the big screen was ‘Chichhore’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Significantly, Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager, Disha Salian, 28, committed suicide by jumping from a building on June 9.
The actor, who became famous for his role in the television serial “Pavitra Rishta”, made his film debut in 2013 with “Kai Po Che!” She acted in films like “Shuddh Desi Romance”, “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”, “Raabta”, “Kedarnath” and “Sonchiriya”.
