Airtel is reportedly giving 1 GB of high-speed data to its customers, that too for free. However, this benefit will be given only to select users. This free data is being provided to the users as a special recharge, in which you will be given additional data from the existing data benefit. As we said, not every user will get the benefit of this offer of Airtel, but instead, randomly select people are being given free 1 GB data. This information is being given to them through a message. Let me tell you, the validity of free data is only 3 days. Prior to Airtel, Reliance Jio also offered such an offer to its prepaid subscribers. Last month, the telecom company provided 2GB of data free of cost to select users.OnlyTech forum Member of DJ Roy gave the first information about this free Airtel data. Airtel subscriber recharged his prepaid account with a data pack of Rs 48, in which he received a total of 4 GB of data. According to the data plan, they were supposed to get 3 GB of data after this recharge, but they received an additional 1 GB of data which was absolutely free. The telecom company informed Roy by the message that 1 GB of extra data is being given to his prepaid account. However, Airtel also informed the user that this data benefit will be valid for 3 days only, this 1 GB data has been rolled out on a trial basis.

Apart from this, 1 GB free data has also been given by Airtel on a trial basis in a smart recharge pack of Rs 49. In this Rs 49 recharge plan, 100 MB of data and talk-time of Rs 38.52 is given to subscribers. However, with this recharge, the subscriber was given 1 GB free data, which also has a validity of 3 three.

As we told, this data is being given to random users, so not all Airtel customers will get the benefit. It is believed that Airtel is providing this free data benefit on a recharge plan of at least Rs.

It is worth noting that this free data benefit of Airtel is similar to the free 2 GB data benefit of Jio. In which the telecom company offered 2GB of high-speed data to its select subscribers with a validity of four days.
