Whatsapp feature tracker WABetaInfo As seen in the screenshots shared by WhatsApp 2.20.201.6 beta, the instant messaging app will inform users receiving the message about the expiring media feature through a pop-up message. This pop-up message will say, “This media will disappear once you leave this chat” (this media file will disappear as soon as you leave the chat). This message will be visible to the user on the shared media file using the new feature.

Apart from this, in a screenshot shared through the source, it can also be seen that as soon as the user receiving the message leaves the chat, a bubble will appear which will say “View once photo expired”. WhatsApp will also offer a dedicated button for this feature, which will help in sending files enabling the expiring media feature, this button can be called View Once.
The reference has been part of the latest WhatsApp beta version, though the feature is not visible to end-users. But, came first Information In terms of this feature is progressing, it can be expected that it may be made available to at least beta testers in the future.
Apart from expiring messaging features, it can also bring some new features, which have been part of the app’s plans for some time. Clear of last month’s evidence WhatsApp 2.20.197.10 was seen in the beta.
Let me tell you, WhatsApp’s expiring media feature is very much like Instagram, in which the photos and videos sent by users in direct messages disappear automatically.
