ZTE has announced the Blade 20 5G in China. This is very similar to the ZTE Blade A7s 2020, at least on the outside. The rest of the specs are quite different.
For example, the ZTE Blade 20 5G is based on the Dimensity 720 chipset, and as the name of the handset suggests, the SoC supports 5G connectivity. According to ZTE, there are some additional passive cooling (heatsink reads) to prevent the chipset from overheating. The handset features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel with a notch, an aspect ratio of 20: 9, and a low resolution of 720 x 1600px. Surprisingly, this phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. I’m not sure at this time if it’s extensible.
The rear camera settings consist of a 16MP f / 1.8 main camera, an 8MP f / 2.2 ultra wide unit, and a 2MP sensor for depth information. On the other hand, the notch on the front houses an 8MP camera for selfies. The internal battery is 4,000mAh, the Blade 205G comes with Android 10, and ZTE’s custom skin is called MiFavor 10.5.
The asking price is CNY 1,499 ($ 224) and is available in jazzy gray and mint blue. No release date or pricing information is available at this time.
