Fortnite’s next live event and season 3 have been postponed once again. This time, the reason behind this is the ongoing protests in the US. It added that the live event named ‘The Device’ and Season 3 has been extended to 15 June and 17 June respectively. Before this event and Fortnite Season 3 was pushed forward once in April and the second time last week. To this, the company said (translated) “The team is keen to push Fortnite forward, but we need to balance the launch time of Season 3 at the moment so that the team can focus on themselves, their families and their communities. ” The post states that a live event called ‘The Device’ has been postponed until Monday, June 15, while Fortnite Season 3 or Chapter 2 Season 3 has been postponed until Wednesday, June 17.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 was originally planned to be released on May 1 but was postponed until June 4. At the time, Epic Games had not clarified why it postponed the release date for the new season.
