Huawei has officially confirmed that it will announce a successor to the Mate XS with the Weibo handle. The Huawei Mate X2 will be announced on February 22nd. This is due to the imminent launch of smartphones shortly after the report, which was presumed to have a collapsed design.
The poster teases the Mate X2 display and flips the screen folding direction inward.
In previous reports, the diagonal screen size was 8.01 inches, the resolution was 2480×2222, and it folds inward like the Galaxy Z Fold 2, so it also has a 6.45 inch external display. These displays from Samsung and BOE allegedly support 90Hz refresh rates.
The Mate X2 is reported to be powered by the 5nm Kirin 9000 5G chipset and support Android 10, 66W charging, and a battery rated at 4,400mAh.
