Apple’s mixed-reality headset is finally coming this year, but don’t hold your breath just yet. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reaffirmed his estimate that the Apple AR/MR will arrive at the end of Q2 2023 or possibly in Q3 2023 .
Kuo’s latest research indicates issues with mechanical component drop testing and the lack of software development tools.
Kuo says that it’s unlikely that Apple will unveil the AR/MR headset in January and will more likely push the announcement to the Spring or possibly even the WWDC conference in June, depending on the progress of development.
