Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has another piece of information about Apple’s upcoming iPhone lineup.

Starting with the iPhone 13 series, which debuts this fall, there are four models with screens the same size as the current lineup, all with a small notch and a Lightning port. Kuo says Apple wants to move to a portless iPhone with a MagSafe connector, but the technology isn’t mature enough yet. I was able to see the first portless iPhone in 2022 or 2023 at the latest.

All iPhone 13 models are equipped with a new ultra-wide camera (6p f / 1.8 lens and autofocus (currently 5p f / 2.4 fixed focus)). iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have a LiDAR scanner and a 120Hz compatible LTPO display. Qualcomm’s 5nm X60M 5G modem will be incorporated into the 13 series.

Apple will increase the battery capacity of all iPhone 13 models thanks to space-saving innovations such as embedding a SIM slot in the mainboard. All iPhone 13 models are a bit heavier due to the increased battery capacity.

For future planning. Apple’s first foldable iPhone will have a 7.5-inch to 8-inch screen and will be available in 2023.

Apple is reported to abolish the Face ID notch on punchhole selfie cameras in 2022. An iPhone with an under-display Touch ID and a periscope zoom camera may arrive in 2022, but may appear in 2023.

Finally, Kuo says Apple could replace the iPhone 11 with an iPhone for less than $ 600 in the first half of 2023. This provides Face ID, 5G, and a 6-inch screen of similar size.
