Micromax is back in India, bringing two new phones under the new IN1 lineup-INNote1 and IN1B. Both feature a Mediatek chipset, a large screen, and affordable tags.
Both devices target the already saturated Indian midrange market, but the company relies on the marketing slogan that these phones are “Made for India,” or IN series.
Micromax IN Note 1 & Micromax IN 1B
Micromax IN Note 1
Note 1 is the most powerful of this duo. It comes with an Helio G85 chipset and is combined with 4GB of RAM. The front panel is a 6.67 inch LCD with a Full HD + display, with one punched hole in the center for the 16MP front camera.
There are four shooters on the back, the 48MP main unit and the 5MP ultra-wide unit are important. It is said that there are some 2MP sensors for macro and depth, but everyone knows that it’s about making numbers.
Micromax brings Stock Android 10 to INNote 1 and also provides a Google Assistant button on the left. On the right side are the power key and volume rocker. This means that the fingerprint scanner has no choice but to stay on the back.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh and supports 18W fast charging via USB-C port. Other connectivity solutions include Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and dual 4G VoLTE. Both SIM cards can work with micro SD cards at the same time there is a very long tray for everything.
Micromax offers IN Note 1 in green and white colors. Prices start at INR 10,999 ($ 150) and go up to INR 12,999 ($ 175)-depending on whether you need 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Flipkart sales will begin on November 24th.
Micromax IN 1B
If the notebook is a bit expensive for your taste, there’s also the IN1B-Helio G35 powered handset with a 6.52 inch LCD. The panel has HD + resolution and has a waterdrop notch at the top where the 8MP selfie camera stays.
On the back panel, there are only two cameras, a 13MP main sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor, with a fingerprint scanner.
Like IN Note 1, there are Android 10 and Google Assistant buttons here. Other similarities include a triple tray for two SIM cards and a microSD card, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi a / b / g / n / ac.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh, but you can only use up to 10W via the USB-C port.
The Micromax IN 1B has two storage options, 2 / 32GB or 4 / 64GB, priced at INR 6,999 ($ 94) or INR 7,999 ($ 107), respectively. The phone arrives in purple, blue, or green and will appear in Flipkart on November 27th.
