Motorola last month announced the Moto G 5G as Europe’s most affordable 5G phone, and the phone is now expanding into India. The Moto G 5G retails for Rs 20,999 ($ 284) and official sales will begin on December 7. HDFC Bank Cardholders will receive an additional 1,000 Indian Rupee discount.
Available in the same colors of frosted silver and volcanic gray, it features Qualcomm’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset in the Indian market. 5G SoCs are paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded via microSD. Place the 6.7-inch FHD + IPS LCD on the front and punch in the center for the 16MP selfie cam.

On the back is a 48MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide snapper and a 2MP macro shooter. The fourth cutout on the camera island is for LED flash. There is also a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back inside the Moto dimples.
The battery is supplied at 5,000mAh and charges 20W. The phone launches Android 10 with Motorola’s MyUX on top. It will soon be upgraded to receive Android 11.
