Music of Android smartphone will be controlled from computer, Microsoft is testing the feature – TechWeu

Microsoft is testing a new feature that will allow Android users to control their smartphone’s music through a Windows 10 computer. Users will be able to access and control the music of their Android smartphone directly through the Computer’s Your Phone app. At the moment, this feature is limited to the ‘Your Phone App’ working on the latest window build, while Microsoft has stated that gradually your Your Phone app will be rolled out for version 1.20041.82 and above. Your phone app has been developed by Microsoft for Window 10, so that it can be connected to Android devices. With the help of this app, not only music but phone calls and photos in the phone can also be accessed in the computer.

Regarding the system in which this feature will be supported, Microsoft has made it clear that this feature will be available only on computers that are updated after October 10, 2018. Apart from this, your Android phone works on Android 7 Nougat or above.

Microsoft also made it clear in its blog post that while they were testing this Your Phone App music control feature, they noticed some problems, which are as follows –

1. Some audio apps support the previous track, some rewind tracks.

2. At the moment, YouTube video and audio are not supported on this feature.

Significantly, earlier this month, Microsoft added a new feature to the Your Phone desktop app, in which Samsung users can drag and drop their phone’s File Window 10 computer using Wi-Fi. However, once again this feature was only available for Window Insider build users.
