OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and accessories India pricing leaks

It’s not April 14 yet, hence, still a few days to go until the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro become officially, official. Up until that pint in time, the leak tidal wave continues.

In the words of DJ Khaled another one!. Hot on the heels of the live OnePlus 8 Pro photo, from just a few hours ago.

Joking aside, this source does appear to offer some interesting new info.

Namely alleged pricing for the pair of phones and their accessories. Operative word here being alleged, since we really can’t say if these are accurate or not.

Even the source itself seems to quote price brackets, rather than particular figures.

Plus, all the numbers appear to be just slightly below what previous leaks have already suggested for European pricing.

In particular, the vanilla OnePlus 8 is said to cost between INR 43,990 and INR 45,990, for the base 8GB/128GB skew and INR 47,990 to INR 49,990, for the 12GB/256GB one.

The OnePlus 8 Pro, has these suggested price brackets set between INR 61,990 and INR 63,990 and INR 65,990 to INR 67,990, for the same two memory variants, respectively.

Circling back to the European pricing, we already mentioned, it has the OnePlus 8 selling for €729 and €835 and the OnePlus 8 Pro – €930 and €1,020.

Some quick napkin math later and we can clearly see that that’s not an insignificant difference in some cases.

Still, not an unbelievable one. So, whether you believe the source or not will come down to personal convictions in this case.

There is this tweet, worth mentioning on the matter. Just for some extra context.

Before we move on to the accessories, since we are sure questions are going to come up, here is the nifty specs table we have on both OnePlus models, expected at the April 14 event, mostly thanks to this mega leak. A cheaper OnePlus 8 Lite/OnePlus Z is still a possibility, though, probably at a later date. Info is still scarce on that front.

On to the accessories then, starting with the Warp Charge 30 Wireless charger.

The source claims it will cost between INR 4,900 and INR 5,990 in India. Which, does, indeed, roughly coincide with the €70 EU price tag, we have heard through the grape vine.

Last, but not least, the new OnePlus wireless earbuds, which the source, as well as other recent rumors, claim will bear the Bullets Wireless Z moniker. Pricing on them is still largely a mystery on most markets.

Other includes

The best we have to go by for the better battery and lower latency, new model is the $100-ish price point of the current generation. Hence, the alleged INR 3,990 does seem on the lower end once again.

Out of all the listed prices, though, it is the only concrete number. So, perhaps, that implies an even greater degree of certainty from the source? We really can’t say, but most things should be cleared-up in a matter of hours.

Speaking of which, we don’t really have any particulars, regarding an India launch for the OnePlus 8 family or its accessories.

We do know that the global unveiling event will take place on April 14 and sales should kick-off on April 30.

In China, the schedule is a bit different, though, with an event on April 16 and almost immediate sales on April 17.
