OnePlus 9 5G leaked with images & hardware details, Here's Details-Techweu

OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are under development and maybe a bit faster than usual in mid-March. That’s all we already know, along with the pretty reliable chatter of the third OnePlus 9E model to complete the lineup. Thanks to the abundance of various credibility renderings, I also have a pretty good idea of what the phone will look like in the future. But today, the OnePlus 95G is experiencing the biggest and most specific leak ever. It seems that prototype units are out there and are taking part in a personal hands-on photo session up close.

We’ll start the tour first, but that’s a more interesting aspect, so some preliminary renderings have been checked out and we can see that they’re very close. That is, assuming this is a late prototype with a final design. This is a safe assumption, judging by what it looks like, and the fact that it boots and looks almost normal. But let’s talk a little more about software.

The main camera setup clearly consists of two large snappers and a third small unit, which comes with an LED flash. This is all in line with the vanilla OnePlus 9 rumors. As far as we know, the OnePlus 9 Pro is of interest in the camera sector and is said to be its mysterious, fourth additional snapper.

The main leak also provides some screenshots containing the unit’s hardware information. Going back to them, as far as the camera is concerned, 12MP and 4MP have been reported. This can be assumed to be converted to a 48MP main camera and 16MP ultra wide.

Before moving to the front of the device, you may be wondering about the strange logo printed on the back of the unit. This is essentially a placeholder. Most manufacturers have their own flavors and methods of marking prototypes in such a way. This is perfectly expected.

From the front, the OnePlus 95G looks very similar to its OnePlus 8T’s predecessor. This includes the 6.55 inch, flat, 120Hz, HDR, 20: 9, 2400 x 1080 pixel Full HD + panel itself. There may be slight adjustments, if not exactly the same as those on the OnePlus 8T. The bezel around it looks pretty thin, but there is no noticeable improvement over its predecessor.

Sources report that the OnePlus 9 5G frame is metal, probably aluminum. All buttons and ports seem to be in familiar locations. The signed OnePlus Alert Slider remains a staple in case someone worries. I’m also happy that one nanoSIM card tray has a solid rubber sticker on it. As far as we know now, OnePlus primarily sticks to its long-standing practice and abandons the official IP rating of Vanilla OnePlus 9, but offers some from a practical point of view. The OnePlus 9 Pro may be the only product that can get a formal intrusion protection stamp.

Last but not least, the remaining screenshots of the OnePlus 9 5G unit feature the main highlights of the new Snapdragon 888 code “lahaina” chipset. Considering OnePlus9Pro, it’s a nice surprise. It was reportedly discovered a few weeks ago running Snapdragon 875 instead.

It also mentions 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage, and also mentions Android 11, with the Oxygen OS on top. This particular unit also reports itself as “LE2117”. That said, it’s worth remembering that this is a prototype with a corresponding OS build. Even though all of these numbers and identifiers certainly look very reliable, there is always the possibility that any number of them will be falsely reported.
