Today’s list on the China Telecom website draws a much more detailed picture, after some Chinese stores and Oppo itself have revealed some important specifications for the Oppo Reno 55G and Reno 5 Pro 5G.

The image shows the curved screens of both phones, but the Pro has a larger 6.55-inch panel and the non-Pro version settles on a 6.43-inch panel. Both handsets feature an OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400px and punch holes for a 32MP front camera.
Rendering of Reno 55G and Reno 5 Pro 5G looks similar
As previous rumors suggest, the Vanilla Reno 5 gets the Snapdragon 765G and the Pro model gets the Density 1000+ chip. The Reno 55G has a memory configuration of 8GB / 128GB and 12GB / 256GB and is priced at RMB 3,299 ($ 500) and RMB 3,699 ($ 570). The Reno5 Pro 5G uses the same memory options and is asking for RMB 3,899 ($ 600) and RMB 4,299 ($ 660) in return.
The rear camera configuration was also confirmed by China Telecom. In addition to the main 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide unit and two 2MP auxiliary snappers that make little contribution to the photography experience.
Both phones have been tested to boot with Android 11 and run on a 4,300mAh battery that supports Oppos 65W fast charging technology.
In terms of dimensions, vanilla measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and tilts the scale at 180g, while Reno5Pro measures 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.6mm and weighs 5 grams lighter.
The two phones will be officially released on December 10th, but I’m not sure if there’s anything left to announce at this point.
