In November, Samsung announced one of the most affordable phones with the Galaxy A02s, which sells for € 150. Today, the Galaxy A02, announced in Thailand, has a retail price of THB 2,999 ($ 100/86 euros), making it even more affordable.

In terms of specs, we have the same package as the A02, with one less camera on the back and MediaTek’s MT6739W chipset. There is a 6.5 inch HD + LCD on the front with a water drop notch cutout for the 5MP selfie cam. Around the plastic back, there is a 13MP primary camera next to the 2MP macro cam.

A02 launches Android 10 with One UI2. Its 5,000mAh battery is charged at a speed of 7.75W via microUSB. The phone supports dual SIM and also has a headphone jack. Availability details have not been announced today, but we expect the Galaxy A02 to become more widespread in the coming months.
