Leak star Ice universe I’m checking the specs of the Galaxy S21 Ultra camera leaked last month. The following figure shows the sensor details for all five camera modules (S21 and S21 + have acquired triple cameras).
The main module of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is equipped with the upcoming 108MPISOCELL HM3 sensor with 0.8 µm pixels (with 9-in-1 binning support) and SuperPD autofocus. It has 12% better photosensitivity than the HM1 sensor Samsung used this year.
The resolution is high enough for lossless digital zoom up to 3x. The phone will also have a dedicated 3x telephoto camera with a 10MP sensor (ISOCELL Fast 3J1) Uses 1.22 µm pixels and dual pixel AF. Zooming beyond 3x may merge data from wide cameras and 3x Tele cameras (adjacent to each other).
The folded periscope will take over when it reaches 10x magnification. It uses the same 10MP 3J1 sensor as any other telecamera (for comparison, the Note20 Ultra Periscope Module had a 1.4µm pixel 12MP sensor).
Finally, there is a 12MP ultra-wide camera with an IMX563 sensor (1.4µm, 1/2.55 inches). This is the only Sony sensor on the back of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, which may be on the entire phone depending on the selfie camera (S20 Ultra uses the Samsung sensor).
The phone uses the laser autofocus assist used by the Note20Ultra instead of making the S20Ultra’s 3DToF sensor work.
