Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to launch soon gets certified on FCC list-Techweu

Based on some recent rumors, Samsung will release the Galaxy Watch 4 series on August 11th and will host a launch event for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 on August 27th. An FCC database that reveals some key specifications.

The Wi-Fi-only model is the SM-R880 model number and the LTE version is listed as SM-885U. Both wearables come with dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, NFC, GNSS location, and Bluetooth connectivity. The document reveals the ability to play audio from internal memory. Both models support wireless charging at 5W.

The software side will be covered by a revised version of Google Wear OS with One UI instead of Samsung’s old Tizen OS. Samsung may announce new watch operating system details on June 28th during MWC 2021.
