The latest addition to Xiaomi’s growing Mi10 line is the Mi10i. It borrows the design and specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, but unlike Redmi’s cousin, the Mi 10i is manufactured in India as part of the Make in India initiative.
The main feature here is Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor, which is placed next to the 8MP ultra-wide module and two 2MP sensors to take macro shots and depth data.
The front isn’t too shabby with a 6.67 inch LCD with FHD + resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can automatically dial down the refresh rate to 30Hz for video, or 120Hz for games and other apps altogether. It is also HDR10 + compliant and Widevine L1 certified to meet your HD streaming needs. A 16MP selfie camera is hidden in a small punched hole at the top.
The Mi 10i has 6 / 8GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage, as well as a 5G-capable Snapdragon 750G chipset.
The battery is powered by 4,820mAh and supports 33W fast charging using the required power adapter included with the box. Other additional features include a stereo speaker, headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and IR blaster.
The Mi 10i is available in Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black and Atlantic Blue colors. The retail price of the 6 / 128GB trim is set at 21,999 Indian Rupees, while the retail price of the 8 / 128GB variant is 23,999 Indian Rupees. The entry-level 6 / 64GB version will be available at a later date for Rs 20,999. The first sale of the Mi 10i will begin on January 8th at 12:00 IST at IST.
