Xiaomi today announced a very impressive milestone. The company has sold 200 million Redmi Note phones worldwide. The series has been the manufacturer’s bestseller since the first Redmi Note was introduced in March 2014, and has been the driving force behind Xiaomi’s third place in the world.
According to Weibo’s official poster, the company also announced that China will finally get the Note 10 series on May 26, and the country may also get new devices.
The phone in the image has three cameras lined up vertically. It may look like a regular Redmi Note 10 5G, but the dual-LED flash is actually in a slightly higher position, suggesting a different internal design and perhaps more changes. You’ll have to wait until next week to hear the details.

While Redmi was preparing for the local launch of the Note 10, its CEO revealed another milestone-45.2 million Note 9 phones were sold worldwide. That’s more than 20% of the total 200 million units sold since 2014.
This tells a lot about the growing popularity of Xiaomi’s affordable brands. Given the fact that the Redmi Note10 Pro and its siblings are one of the most popular offers of the year, it can be inferred to be even higher.
