The latest version 10.1 of Gboard brings a new look to users enrolled in the beta version of the app. So 9to5Google According to the report, the new version of Gboard launched a smaller, more controlled update rollout in September.
This update brings it closer to the Pixel UI with minor changes to the keyboard’s appearance, including font changes closer to Google Sans. This font makes the characters on the keyboard look a little rounder than before. When set to the dark theme, there is also a slight change in the top bar of the keyboard, which darkens the text in the light theme and improves contrast.
Again, this change isn’t that dramatic, but it does show Google’s efforts to enhance Gboard’s design elements and look to get closer to the Pixel. If for some reason you don’t like the new search results, you can always revert to the old search results.Sign up for beta and download updates from the Play Store here..
