Dell has announced a number of new products ahead of CES 2021. In particular, the company has updated its Latitude 9000, 7000, and 5000 laptops.
To get started, the Latitude 9000 is powered by Intel’s latest 11th generation processor, but arguably a more notable new feature is the privacy-oriented webcam. The Latitude 9420 and 9520 notebooks feature so-called Safe Shutter cameras. This is an automatic shutter that blocks the camera when not in use. That is, you will only be online during a conference call or a standard one-to-one call.
The details surrounding the entire family haven’t been fully revealed yet, but Dell is offering an updated Latitude 9000 series in standard clamshell and 2-in-1 form factor to work and study at home.
