OnePlus launched the 9RT smartphone in China in October, and we finally confirmed that it is going global. The Indian branch of the brand posted a Morse code on Twitter and wrote: “Ready to decode great. Coming soon!” After a quick decryption, the code simply read “OnePlus 9RT”.
OnePlus 9RT is a device equipped with Snapdragon 888, which has excellent heat dissipation effect. The display is 6.62 inches AMOLED, with all the fancy features, such as HDR10+ support, sRGB and DCI-P3 support, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 600 Hz touch sampling rate.
The three cameras on the back have certain flagship potential, a 50 MP main camera and a Sony IMX766 sensor, but the second camera is a 16 MP ultra-wide angle, and the third is a classic macro lens-no portrait camera with optical zoom.
The price of OnePlus 9RT when it was launched in China was approximately RMB 3,300 (approximately USD 510/EUR 450). Globally, we expect some market adjustments. Indian customers should be able to buy it at a price of approximately 40,000-45,000 Indian rupees, while Europe may see a starting price of 549 euros.
