Xiaomi Mi Band 5 to launch on June 11 WITH A LOT OF NEW FUNCTIONS- TechWeu

According to the latest information, Mi Band 5 will be available in late June or early July. Of course, Mi Band 5 should be better than its predecessor, but what exactly? The report says that Xiaomi made the announcement via its Xiaomi Mall WeChat wherein it said that its next generation fitness tracker would arrive on June 11.

As far as the features are concerned, Mi Band 5 is expected to come with a punch hole display that sits in the middle of the screen at the bottom. The punch hole display is likely to house a camera. It is likely to get a 1.2-inch touchscreen OLED display along with NFC and Google Pay.

Separately, it is worth highlighting the support for the Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) index determination function. According to the website of the organization PAI Health, PAI is the first scientific indicator of activity. It can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by an average of 25%. The index is calculated on the basis of data on the pulse and the “characteristics” of a person: his age, gender, height, weight, and so on. By the way, the PAI has already been added to the new Amazfit watch.

n addition to this, Xiaomi’s upcoming fitness tracker is also expected to get a SpO2 sensor and a virtual assistant. While the variant that is expected to launch in China is expected to come with the company’s XiaoAi, the international variant is expected to feature support for Amazon Alexa.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is expected to be priced at 179 Yuan ( ₹1,840 approximately).

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is the long-awaited Xiaomi band and it looks like its debut is not far away. It was noticed recently on the NCC website, where the wearable was certified. In addition, we have a confirmation that the Xiaomi Mi Band 4C will be a rebranded model recently introduced by Redmi.
