Updatable GPU drivers are commonplace in the PC world and have been enjoyed by mobile users these days. Qualcomm has been doing that for a year, but Samsung has implemented a software solution. This is an Android app called a game driver that “enables the best gaming experience”.
This application is for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 flagships only. Call of Duty: It should improve the performance of some games such as Mobile and Fortnite.
According to Samsung, GPU optimization came after a collaboration between Google and “major GPU vendors such as ARM and Qualcomm.” The company promised that the aggregate would increase “immediately” despite the limited number of devices that support game drivers from the beginning.
