There were few customization options available in older iOS versions, but this has recently changed with the iOS 14 update. It can be said that Apple finally understands the needs of users. With the iOS 14 update, Apple has added many customization options that allow users to set custom change animations on their iPhones.
From changing app icons to adding crazy home screen icons, there are plenty of personalization options available in the latest iOS 14 update. One such feature is charging animation. You can set a custom charging animation on your iPhone. It will start playing when you connect the device for charging. Isn’t it cool? Please set the animation by the following method.
How to Set Custom Charging Animation on iPhone in iOS 14
Before you can start the process, you need to install the charging sound and animation app from the app store. You can choose any app, but here are two apps that I found to be good. You can get the app from the app store using the link below.
These apps come with lots of great animations and sound effects and are free to use. This method uses an app named Charging Animation.
Use Shortcuts App to Set the Charging Animation on Your iPhone
Well, first of all, the process first launches the shortcut app on your iPhone. Then tap the Automation tab at the bottom center of the screen.
Tap on the Create Personal Automation option. On the next screen, scroll down and select the charger option.
Select the Connected option and tap Next in the upper right corner of the screen to continue.
Now, again tap on the next option.
When you see the “Check before running” toggle, turn it off. Then tap Done in the upper right corner of the screen.
Then tap the “iPhone is connected to power” option, then tap “No action” under the “Run” option.
On the next screen, tap the Add Action button, then tap the Script option.
After that, select the ‘open app’ option.
On the next screen, you will see the Select option, tap it and then select the charging animation you want.
Finally, tap the Back button in the upper left corner of the screen, then tap the Done button to confirm.
